Based in the heart of the New Forest, in Lymington, you can find us at Shallowmead nurseries next to Mabels restaurant and cafe (stop in for a coffee and some cake!). Explore the delightful gardens at the back of the nursery before coming in to the distillery bar and trying our spirits or get involved with a spirits school class and create your own unique spirit.
Spirits School
Book a class at our Spirit School, where you can craft a distinctive spirit by handpicking the botanicals of your choice to enhance its flavour.

Gin School
In our 2-hour session, we’ll guide you through the history of gin, lead you on a tour of our distillery, and showcase the botanicals we grow on-site. Next, we’ll walk you through the gin-making process, assist you in selecting your preferred botanicals, and help you balance the recipe to produce your personalized gin. Throughout the session, you’ll have the opportunity to sample some of our on-site gin in gin and tonics or cocktails. You can either have a still to yourself or share it with your loved ones or a friend. We’ll be making a multi-shot recipe, which we’ll explain during the session. As a result of the session, you’ll receive your own 700ml bottle of gin to take home, with the option to purchase an additional bottle if you would like to!
spiced Rum School
In this 2-hour session, we’ll guide you through the history of rum, take you on a distillery tour, and showcase the botanicals we grow on-site. We’ll then walk you through the rum-making process, assist you in selecting your preferred botanicals, and help you balance the recipe to create your personalized rum. Throughout the session, you’ll have the chance to sample some of our on-site gin and rum in gin and tonics, rum mixed with your choice of mixer, or cocktails. You can either have a still to yourself or share it with your loved ones or a friend. We’ll be creating a multi-shot recipe, which we’ll explain during the session. At the end of the session, you’ll be able to take home your very own 700ml bottle of rum, with the option to purchase another if you so choose!
